I have been a faculty member at MIT Sloan School of Management since 2011.  Prior to Sloan I spent eight years on the faculty at Harvard Business School.  My teaching, research, and consulting focus on operations management.  Specifically, I look at how companies can use operations to create a more profitable and sustainable business. Currently, I am working on a book that shows what companies can learn from successful retailers that break the trade-off between good jobs and low prices.
